Kangaroo Flat Falter Report

12 July 2009

The weekend’s action saw Bendigo University’s Kangaroo Flat Falter run on the wettest Saturday for the year. It was Jenny Jones who tamed the extremely muddy Collins Street circuit to take her first victory for the year in a time of 39.44. Club Treasurer and long time member Shayne Rushan was second home across the line, running a time of 47.05 and it was Jackie Tremayne who rounded out the placings, by finishing third. Andy Buchanan was the only runner to break the 30-minute barrier and ran the fastest time of the day in 29.41.

The results for the 1km course are still being sorted out and will be posted on the website once they are complete.

Next week’s race will be the Greg McBain-marked Junortoun Jog, which will be ran over distances of 1km, 3km, and 8km. The run will start at the corner of Turner’s Road and Braeside Drive in Junortoun.
