Buchanan stars at countries

Andy Buchanan has set the track alight at the Victorian Country Athletics Championships at Landy Field in Geelong on the weekend. He collected two gold medals for the U/20 5000m and 10000m events. Andy's time of 16.15 in the 5000m was a personal best by a considerable margin and his time of 35.26 for the 10000m was also a very good run. Fellow BU member Tim McCullagh also had a very successful carnival after taking home the bronze medal in the U/20 800m in a time of 1:57.26 and placed 4th in the 1500m in a time of 4:09.89. Lee McCullagh also ran in the 400m and 800m events.
